Agency Liaison
Through TMDA headquarters in Austin, the association has established good working relations with the Texas Motor Vehicle Commission, the Department of Public Safety, and the State Comptroller. Our input is often sought before agency rules are adopted.

TMVC Code Booklets
TMDA provides dealer members a complimentary copy of the current Texas Motor Vehicle Commission Code.

Membership Directory
TMDA publishes a directory containing a roster of all licensed motorcycle dealerships in Texas by firm, last name, and city; relevant state agencies; TMDA bylaws; and endorsed services.

Membership Logos & Plaque
Members receive TMDA logos for display on their business cards, signs and letterhead to indicate their membership to the general public. Also, each TMDA member receives a handsome plaque to display at their business.

TMDA Newsletter
The bi-monthly newsletter, Motorcycle Dealer News, is a way of communicating with each member on a regular basis. It keeps members informed on many important industry and legislative issues as well as general business information.

TMDA Membership
Categories & Dues

Companies or individuals may join TMDA as either a retailer or an associate members.

Retailer Member (motorcycle dealer)
Dues are $3.00 per unit sold annually ($600.00 minimum; $1,200.00 maximum) based upon the number of new or used units (motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, mopeds, personal watercraft) dealership sells per year.

Associate Member (supplier of products or services to the motorcycle retailing industry)
Associate members may choose their level of membership:

Bronze: $500.00
Silver: $750.00
Gold: $1,000.00
Platinum: Over $1,500.00
