TMDA promotes educational programs to further enhance the knowledge and competence of dealers. Improve and update your technical and business knowledge by attending the annual meeting, featuring roundtable discussion with peers and seminars from industry speakers.

The TMDA Conference will be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Austin, Texas. TMDA has reserved a block of rooms for conference attendees at a special rate of $159.95. To make reservations, please call the hotel at 800/321-2211 by February 4, and mention “TMDA.”

Kickoff the meeting by networking with peers at
a welcome reception on Saturday, February 25. After
breakfast on Sunday morning, representatives from
the industry will provide participants with new ideas and information. The conference will conclude with lunch and a General Business Meeting.

The industry must be aware that our enthusiasts’ shopping choices are more and more dictated by consumer ratings. These ratings are part of a new level of online marketing that dealers must listen to, react to, and finally, influence.

Online marketing is more than a message repeated over various search engines and websites, but an ongoing and interactive conversation. Royce will provide a 2011 legislative summary of the bills affecting motorcycle dealers, with emphasis on HB 268 that provided agricultural exemption reforms and shifted the burden away from dealers to the purchasers.
